(1) Before the publication of the final list of candidates in accordance with section 24, if the nomination paper of the candidate nominated by the party has been duly approved and the candidate has not withdrawn his/her name, dies and the written notice of such death is received from the candidate's election representative or the relevant party or any other person and If the Election Officer is convinced of such a matter, he shall immediately suspend other programs related to such election and shall inform the Commission accordingly.
(2) If a candidate nominated by a party dies after the publication of the final list of candidates in accordance with section 24, and if a written notice of such death is received from the candidate's election representative or the relevant party or any other person, and if the election officer is convinced of such matter, he/she shall organize other programs related to such election. It should be postponed immediately and the information should be given to the commission.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (1) or (2), the election officer shall post the notice of postponement of the program in his office for the information of other candidates as well.
(4) After receiving the information according to sub-section (1), the commission shall determine another program and send it to the election officer to complete the program related to the nomination of candidates as quickly as possible so that the voting program of such election is not affected.
(5) After receiving the information as per sub-section (2), the Commission shall re-determine the other program for the election including the date of voting in such election as per this paragraph and send it to the election officer.
(6) In case of postponement of the program as per sub-section (1) or (2), the candidate whose nomination paper has already been duly submitted or whose name is in the final list of candidates shall not be required to file the nomination paper again and the candidate of the party whose candidate has died can be re-nominated only on behalf of such party. .
(7) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this section, postpone the election on the death of a candidateIf the period for completing the work as written in the election program exceeds seven days, there is no need to publish another program and it should be arranged in such a way that the work related to the nomination of candidates should be completed within the time period of the same program so as not to disturb the voting work.
